Karori Junior Hockey Club caters to the needs of primary school aged players (Years 3-8). We are aligned with the (Senior) Karori Hockey Club and aim to foster strong ties with the senior club in order to provide playing pathways for our junior players, and a stream of new talent for the senior club.

Our club serves children living or going to school in; Karori, Kelburn/Highbury, Northland, Wadestown/Wilton, Crofton Downs, Ngaio and Khandallah.
It has a strong parent-led committee, which is committed to providing opportunities for our junior players to develop the sounds basic skills they need to develop into competent senior players, and who (hopefully) just love playing hockey!
We are also fortunate to have a number of parent-coaches who have played at a very high level and are happy to pass their skills and knowledge on to all our juniors, as well as coaches from the senior club who, despite not having children of their own, are prepared to commit their time to developing future teammates!
If you want to learn more about playing for our club including training days, uniform requirements, costs of playing, etc then please read our playing for us section or feel free to contact a member of the committee.
